3M™ Tape 5430 is a clear UHMW polyethylene film tape product with an acrylic adhesive, commonly used in the automotive industry to help control squeaks and squeaks caused by vibration or abrasion of metallic materials and plastic. This UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) film tape provides good chemical resistance and excellent abrasion resistance to help ensure a long service life. 3M™ Squeak Reduction Tape 5430 is mounted on a liner, making it easy to die cut to meet the needs of specific applications. It is ideal for applications requiring low coefficients of friction and movement of parts and/or materials.
