3M™ VHB™ Tape 4936 is a gray, multi-purpose acrylic adhesive tape with a strong foam core. It can replace rivets, welds and screws. The quick and easy-to-use permanent bonding method provides high durability and longevity. It provides design flexibility with strong ductility and adhesion to a variety of surfaces.
This tape uses a low temperature adhesive that can be bonded at 32°F (0°C). 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4936 uses a rigid foam. It can be used on a variety of substrates including metals, glass and high surface energy (HSE) paints and plastics. Applications for this tape include stiffeners, panels, trim materials, and decorative attachments.
